On display are Kolbenschmidt pistons with a bore up to 350 mm, destined for customers in Asia. These are mainly marine engine pistons for smaller and mid-size vessels. The large-bore pistons can be found in the main and auxiliary propulsion systems of cruise liners, container and other freight ships and engines for auxiliary power generation. A further application is in locomotive engines. The company is supplying efficient piston solutions complying with IMO III emission regulations and others, issued by numerous nations.
