The Auto Shanghai motor show takes place April 21-28 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. Rheinmetall AG will be on hand in Hall 1.2 at booth 1.2 5BJ152. New Technology Center in China
The Rheinmetall technology group’s Materials and Trade division continues to make systematic inroads into China’s expanding on- and off-highway market. Group subsidiary KS Kolbenschmidt GmbH of Neckarsulm, Germany and its cooperation partners – auto parts maker ZYNP Corporation of Mengzhou, China and the Riken Corporation of Tokyo – have joined forces to open their own Tech Center in Nanjing, China. For KS Kolbenschmidt, the move marks another consistent step in the direction of a truly global presence in the modern steel pistons domain.

Active in the war on corona
Rheinmetall to market protective equipment for civil-sector customers
From the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rheinmetall technology group has been helping to alleviate shortages of protective equipment for medical staff. Under the motto “Protecting those who protect us”, today Rheinmetall is already meeting the requirements of government agencies for personal protective equipment, or PPE. From now on, it will also be supplying the civil sector. Spare parts supplier MS Motorservice International GmbH, a component of the Group’s Materials and Trade division, will soon be marketing Rheinmetall-branded PPE products to private sector customers around the globe.
